‘Queen Jean’ Enjoys Centenarian Adventures with Brotherwood WAV Hire

When Laura was looking to treat Grandmother Jean to a special day out for her 101^st birthday, she returned to Brotherwood – the UK’s Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle specialists – to hire an adapted vehicle, making it easy for them to enjoy some memorable days out together as a family.

After a successful trip to Avebury Stone Circle for Jean’s 99th birthday, the annual outing has evolved a tradition for the family, taking in a visit to “Wake the Tiger” in Bristol for her 100^th birthday, and a family lunch out, on her most recent 101^st birthday celebration.

Laura wrote to us after Jean’s 101st birthday trip to thank the Hire Team:

I want to say a big thank you to all at Brotherwood for making it possible for my Grandmother have awesome holidays and adventures as a Centenarian.

We’ve been using Brotherwood for 3 years, and have been to places that would have been inaccessible to us, had we not been able to hire a WAV.
